What is ILTACON?

ILTACON is a multi-day conference with comprehensive peer-driven programs, educational content, and face-to-face networking. Industry experts and the legal community collaborate to discover and evolve successful legal operation strategies for today’s transforming legal industry.


Who should attend ILTACON?

Leaders, managers, decision-making legal technologists, and professionals new to legal from small to large law firms, corporate and government law departments, academia, and the G100 firms.


When is ILTACON 2021?

ILTACON 2021 will take place 22-26 August 2021.


Will ILTACON 2021 be held in person?

Yes! ILTACON 2021 will be held in-person at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. We will be limiting in-person participation to members and silver level Business Partners and above.

Will there be a digital portion?

ILTACON 2021 will have a digital portion for those individuals who are unable to attend in-person.

Will the content be available for a global audience?

Educational content will be relevant for a global audience, and all sessions will be recorded. Some sessions will be livestreamed from Las Vegas.

How many Educational Tracks will there be?

In-person attendees will be able to choose from 5 concurrent sessions. Digital attendees will be able to participate in selected livestreamed sessions.

Where can I see a list of the educational sessions?

The educational content is still in development. We will release the full agenda by 1 June.

How do I book a room in the ILTACON block at the Mandalay Bay?

The ILTACON housing block at the Mandalay Bay is reserved for registered attendees, registered press, and sponsoring business partners. If you are a registered attendee, a registered press attendee, or a sponsoring business partner who has not received information on how to book your room, please email events@iltanet.org.

I received a call from NCA about booking a hotel room for ILTACON. Are they an official partner?

No! ILTA is not working with a third-party for the ILTACON room block. We encourage participants to book through the official link provided. No one other than ILTA or the Mandalay Bay will contact you regarding a room reservation.

When do registration rates for ILTACON increase?

ILTACON registration rates will increase effective July 1, 2021.

How do I register and pay for a group from my organization?

Please email iltacon@iltanet.org with a list of who you wish to register and what their registration type will be (in-person or digital). Once you send the email with the list, please have each person fill out the Registration Request Form and subsequent web Registration Form. We will issue an itemized invoice once all forms are received. It is important to note that no registrations will be processed until payment is received.

How do I register for an in-person superpass?

Member entities who have paid for 8 in-person registrants will be eligible for an additional in-person registration at no additional charge. Upon confirmation that the minimum has been met, please fill out the Registration Request Form and subsequent web Registration Form. Once we have confirmed eligibility, we will process the registration and issue an email registration confirmation.

How do I register for a digital superpass?

Member entities who have paid for 10 digital registrants will be eligible for two additional digital registrations at no additional charge. Upon confirmation that the minimum has been met, please fill out the Registration Request Form and subsequent web Registration Form. Once we have confirmed eligibility, we will process the registration and issue an email registration confirmation.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

Cancellation requests will be refunded on the following schedule:

* Requests received on or before May 31 = 75% refund
* Requests received June 1 through June 30 = 50% refund
* Requests received after June 30 = No refund.

Registration transfers to another person in your organization may be completed with no penalty in some circumstances. Please contact events@iltanet.org if you would like to transfer your registration.

As an international attendee is there anything I should be aware of?

Educational content will be relevant for you, and we are looking forward to your participation as either an in-person or digital attendee.

How many member registration spots are available for ILTACON 2021?

We are limiting our in-person member attendance to no more than 800 registrants. As ILTACON draws near, we will re-evaluate our attendance and adjust if it is safe and feasible to do so.

Will you have a waiting list if I'm not able to get registered for the in-person event?

Once we reach our in-person capacity, we will open a waiting list.

I need an accommodation to fully participate in ILTACON

During the registration process, you will be able to request a dietary, physical, or other accomodation to fully participate in ILTACON.

English is not my first or primary language - will you offer foreign language translation?

We will not be offering foreign language translation at ILTACON

What types of COVID protocols will be put into place?

In addition to requiring all in-person participants to be fully vaccinated no later than 14 days prior to arrival, we are developing an event-wide COVID Safety Plan to keep all participants safe. Items in development include a Health Assessment Room, contactless badge pick-up, a more robust mobile app, and many more. A link to our COVID Safety Plan can be found HERE when available.

Will you require on-site participants to be vaccinated?

Yes. All in-person participants will be required to be fully vaccinated no later than 14 days prior to arrival.

Will you require proof of vaccination?

We may require proof of vaccination. We will have more information on type of proof and submission guidelines as we draw closer to ILTACON.

Will ILTACON require vaccine passports?

We may. We are currently working with the property and local health authorities as well as tracking the most up-to-date information from the CDC, WHO, and State of Nevada.

Will there be a need for COVID testing prior to arrival?

At this time, we are not planning to require testing.

Will I be required to wear a mask at all times? May I wear a shield in place of a mask?

Facial coverings (covering nose and mouth) will be required at all times. A facial shield may be used in addition to, but not in place of, a mask / facial covering.

Are there any exceptions to the vaccination or mask requirement?

No. There are no exceptions to these requirements.

What type of capacity limits can I expect?

All staff attending ILTACON must have a badge. This includes the demo room area, exhibit hall, and sessions.

May I participate in ILTACON activities at the ILTA365 level?

No, Silver and above have benefits associated with ILTACON

How many staff can we send?

Corporate Sponsors will have the following badge allotments: Silver (3); Gold (5); Platinum (7); ILTAMAX (10). Badges will not be transferable.

Are there limits to my exhibit space?

ILTA follows the IAEE Guidelines for Display Rules & Regulations. 10x10 Linear Booths - The maximum height of 8 ft. (2.44 m) is allowed only in the rear half of the booth space with a 4 ft. (1.22 m) height restriction imposed on all materials in the remaining space forward to the aisle. All guidelines for Linear Booths apply to 10x20 Booths, except that the center extended header has a maximum height of 8ft (2.44m), a maximum width of 20 percent of the length of the booth, and a maximum depth of 9ft (2.7m) from the back wall.

How many hotel rooms do I receive by my sponsor level?

Corporate Sponsors will have the following hotel room allotments: Silver (3); Gold (5); Platinum (7); ILTAMAX (10)

How much are hotel rooms?

ILTA has room blocks at Mandalay Bay for $148/night + tax. (single/double occupancy). Resort fee is $39/night. Attendee registrants will receive room reservation links in their registration confirmation email.
• Fitness center access is included in your resort fee (Mandalay Bay fitness center)
• Enjoy Spa Mandalay while on property at a 20% discount

How do I order Exhibit Hall Services?

You will receive a link the exhibitor service kit from GES Exposition Services, the official service contractor, with information on ordering equipment, internet, cleaning services and more. Their phone number is 800.475.2098.

When can I access my demo room?

I received an email saying I could purchase an attendee list for ILTACON. Is that legitimate?

No! ILTA does not provide registration information to a third-party.
